What’s sad about it is, it’s mostly affecting the most private part of our body and it can also smell. Isn’t that just embarrassing?
So, what is a yeast infection? It’s a kind of infection that is caused by yeast or microscopic fungi. It is most often called as “candidiasis” and can affect the private organ, just under the breast, on the lower abdomen, under the skin folds and even around dentures.
The foul smell that is emanated from the affected area can cause discomfort and humiliation which you can easily get rid of by following these easy treatments for yeast infection. No need to suffer from it any longer as long as you know the good old tricks to fight off those filthy yeasts and fungi without heading to a drug store.
- First is garlic. You can head to your local grocery store and buy some garlic. Better yet, just head to your kitchen, for sure you have some garlic lying around. You can include more garlic in your diet but the best way to make use of its anti-fungal property is by directly applying it to the affected area. For women with a vaginal yeast infection, the garlic must be inserted into the vagina. Just make sure you place the garlic on a string that would make it much easier to pull out. Leave it in for a couple of hours and pull the string to remove it.
- Second is by using yogurt. The Lactobacillus Acidophilus from the yogurt is great for fighting off the yeast infection. You can apply the yogurt to the affected area in different ways. You can use a syringe without a needle to squeeze in the yogurt into your vagina or simply coat it on the vaginal walls. Anyway you do it, it will work.
- Third, use vinegar. Don’t use the strong vinegar solution but the mild vinegar. It must be white vinegar that’s diluted in water. About 1 tablespoon of pure vinegar diluted in a quart of water would be good. You can just douche it onto the affected area every few hours for it to be most effective.
- Fourth, use tea tree oil. There are many drug stores and retail outlets that sell tea tree oil and it’s been used for many years because it works in treating many kinds of infection. Just apply it onto the affected area and notice quick relief. Do this until your yeast infection days are over.
- Fifth, keep your problem areas clean. Make sure it’s dry all the time as moisture will make your problem even worse. Make sure you only use panty liners or pads only when necessary and replace it after a few hours. The longer it stays there, the more bacteria can thrive and it will definitely make your problem even worse.
